JBA’s newest project advances our mission to preserve the history of broadcasting on the First Coast through the efforts of interns from local colleges and universities. This series of podcasts complements JBA’s Oral History Project with one exception: Our interns produce, edit and host the podcasts and give them the opportunity to directly interact with professionals who are doing or have worked in the profession these students are pursuing.

Additionally, we get to preserve the stories and memories of more broadcasters who spend their time behind the scenes and out of the public eye. While many of these folks have long and extensive careers in broadcasting, the general public is largely unaware of their impacts. As witnesses to our history, these people share interesting stories and and are worthy of a few minutes of your time.
